We are excited to announce the return of a Modern Jive Team Routine. The first one since 2019!

Those who are new to the concept- it is a fun achievable routine choreographed by Bec and Adrian. We teach it over two x 4-hour sessions. August 18th 2pm- 6pm and September 22nd. Both sessions are held at Kahibah Sports Club. Enjoy the post-routine buzz and community bonding time afterwards, over dinner.

Cost for the 8-hours training is $100. Please pay in class ASAP. Video support is included.

If you would like to join us you need to arrange a partner as this routine is not taught in rotation. We encourage you to plan some independent practices, by yourself and with your partner, including between session 1 and session 2, and ideally leading up to December 13th.

The routine is an open-level routine. As a general guide you need to be competent with all base moves, know the fundamental lead/follow skills and be relatively comfortable with or capable of many of the intermediate moves.

It's fun, digestible and an excellent way to fast-track your dancing process. Through deliberate practice you will develop your knowledge of moves, your lead and follow skills, your musicality and styling. Most of which, can then be incorporated into your social freestyle. You also get to know some great people a little better!

The end goal is to perform it at our December 13th Christmas Party and 18th Birthday Celebration- such a buzz! For those who are keen for the performance and willing to get out of their comfort zone, and in turn grow, (everyone we hope) we will provide team coaching / practice sessions - leading up to December 13th. These are $10 per 2-hour session, which includes venue hire, so represents excellent value. Between the two of us Bec and I have taught approximately 30-40 routines so you are in very good hands!

Venues and dates for coaching sessions are to be advised. As a general guideline, they will take place mid October to mid-December, approximately fortnightly. Most likely, Sunday afternoon, but we do want to get some feedback to maximise availability before we lock them in. When you pay at class please advise your name, phone number, email and how Sunday afternoons are generally looking for you.
