Friday Night's are a great night to dance - even better now with the new pricing and format!

With the cost of living going up and many people tightening the budget, we thought would buck the trend and make Fridays more affordable! When times are tough its all the more important to keep on dancing!

We hope to see you on the floor soon.

Option for Thai dinner at Pakpumthai, 6.30pm for those who just do Modern Jive and intend to come to the dance party only. Restaurant here (130 metres from venue). Please rsvp for dinner via email to dancevibe@yahoo.com.au.

Format

6.15pm - Doors open.

6.30pm - 7.00pm Level 1 Class (1st timers welcome and regulars encouraged).

7.00pm - 7.30pm Level 2 Class (1st-timers who managed level 1 are welcome).

7.00pm - 8.00pm Level 3 Class (Experienced dancers only).

What is West Coast Swing?

West Coast Swing (WCS) is an ultra-smooth social swing dance, originating in California, USA. It is characterised by it’s sense of fun, rhythmic footwork, freedom to improvise for both leaders and followers, and it’s beautiful smooth elastic look and spongey feel. It captures a great range of music, including, RnB, Blues, Soul, Soft Rock, and Pop. Check out the video link below.

Standard Mixed-style Dance Party- (Modern Jive and West Coast Swing).

Dancers love a dedicated, private place for social dancing, where they know the music will be catered to them, and where other dancers will be there  to connect and dance with. In fact, the social dancing aspect becomes the best part of the dance experience for many! It's also one of the best ways to improve.
