Entry: $15 (pre-covid cost was $17). Under 16yo free.

Format (Modern Jivers - 6.15pm to 9.10pm, West Coast Swing 8.15pm-10.30pm)

6.15pm - Doors open 

6.15pm - 6.45pm Social Dancing Warm-up - Modern Jive 

6.30pm - 6.45pm Fundamentals Introduction for Beginners

6.45pm - 7.35pm Modern Jive Base Moves Class (Beginner friendly) (50 minutes)

7.35pm - 7.50pm Modern Jive Social Dancing

7.50pm - 8.30pm Modern Jive Intermediate Class (40 minutes)

7.50pm - 8.30pm Modern Jive Step-up Class (beginners and progressing dancers) (room 2) (40 minutes)

(The Step-up class is for beginners and progressing dancers- those who have not yet been approved for Intermediate. If you feel you are close to being ready for intermediate please book in a feedback session, ideally a week ahead. As a general guide, 8 weeks of beginners and step-up is needed to build good foundations of the Intermediate level. Moving up early will hinge your progress and potentially frustrate other experienced dancers!).

8.30pm - 9.45pm Modern Jive Social Dancing.

For your comfort we have full access to both rooms.

Please support the club that supports us, if you are able. If everyone buys one drink that makes a difference to the club and their willingness to keep hosting us!

Please remember to sanitise regularly, if you have cold or flu symptoms do not attend the night. Those showing cold or flu symptoms will be asked to leave. Let's keep the sensible hygiene practices going into the future and look after your team and fellow dancers.
