We are super-excited to be hosting Emma and Matt from Lestep on the Gold Coast in Newcastle!

We are lucky to have these awesome teachers and dancers in town to teach some Modern Jive and West Coast Swing workshops and help the community grow their dancing.

Saturday West Coast Swing workshops.

Venue- Cardiff Senior Citizens

11-12 Workshop 1- Movement versus Moves- Understand body mechanics to get more out of your partnership.

1-2 Workshop 2- Direction & Redirection- Tips and tricks on how to project your moves, literally!

2.15-3.15 Workshop 3- Shape it up- Add shape and variety to your dancing. Bend it, shift it, stretch it- the slot, that is!

3.15- 4.00pm Social dancing/practice.

Sunday Modern Jive workshops.

Venue-Dudley Senior Citizens Centre

11-12 Workshop 1- Building Blocks- Understand your basics to help make complex patterns more accessible and easier to execute.

1-2 Workshop 2- Fun & Funky- Instant fun factor at any level by creating shapes and identifying connection, on the go!

2.15-3.15 Workshop 3- Smooth and Subtle- Alternating connection via acceleration and deceleration.

3.15pm- 4.00pm Social dancing/practice

Please note- At door option = at class, not on the day. Any payments made on the day will incur a 20% fee. Best not to leave it too late.
