No need to register, just turn up.

Format

6.15pm - Doors open.

6.30pm - 7.00pm Level 1 Class (1st timers welcome and regulars encouraged).

7.00pm - 7.30pm Level 2 Class (1st-timers who managed level 1 are welcome).

7.00pm - 8.00pm Level 3 Class (Experienced dancers only).

8.00pm - 11.00pm Social dancing.

Friday sessions are generally on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month

Venue- Cardiff Senior Citizens Centre.

Our next one is May 26th at Cardiff Senior Citizens Club.

What is West Coast Swing?

West Coast Swing (WCS) is an ultra-smooth social swing dance, originating in California, USA. It is characterised by it’s sense of fun, rhythmic footwork, freedom to improvise for both leaders and followers, and it’s beautiful smooth elastic look and spongey feel. It captures a great range of music, including, RnB, Blues, Soul, Soft Rock, and Pop. Check out the video link below.

Standard Mixed-style Dance Party- (Modern Jive and West Coast Swing).

Dancers love a dedicated, private place for social dancing, where they know the music will be catered to them, and where other dancers will be there  to connect and dance with. In fact, the social dancing aspect becomes the best part of the dance experience for many! It's also one of the best ways to improve.
